How to edit a guest
Update a guest's name, contact details, plus-one, or RSVP status — or add and remove people on an existing invitation.
You edit guests through the invitation they belong to. From your guest list you can change a name, add contact details or an address, set a plus-one, or update anyone’s RSVP status.
Where to find it
-
Sign into your Married Next account at https://marriednext.com
-
Navigate to your guest list at https://marriednext.com/engaged/guests
-
Find the invitation, select the “⋯” menu on its card, and choose “Edit.” (On the “By guest” tab, select the “Edit” button on the guest’s row instead.)
The “Edit Invitation” dialog opens, tagged with the invitation number and a “Single,” “+1,” or “Group” badge.
How to edit a guest
-
Update the “Full Name” field for any guest.
-
Set the “RSVP Status” — “Pending,” “Attending,” or “Declined.”
-
To add a plus-one, tick “Allow plus one,” then optionally fill in the “Plus-one name (optional)” field. Untick it to remove the plus-one.
-
Select “Show more details” to reveal the “Email,” “Phone,” and address fields (“Address Line 1,” “Address Line 2,” “City,” “State,” “Postal Code,” “Country”). For a second guest, tick “Same address as primary guest” to reuse the first guest’s address.
-
Select the “Save Changes” button.
Adding or removing people on an invitation
- Select “Add Another Guest” to add someone to this same invitation.
- Select the trash icon on a guest’s row to remove them. You can’t remove the last guest — an invitation always has at least one.
Changes take effect when you select “Save Changes.”
Changing just an RSVP status (quick way)
You don’t need to open the dialog to change a reply. On your guest list, select the status pill next to any guest and pick “Attending,” “Declined,” or “Not Responded.” It saves right away.
To remove an entire invitation instead, see How to delete a guest.
