How to set or change your wedding date & time

Your wedding date can be modified from the settings page. It drives your countdown, sets the deadline for RSVPs, and (optionally) appears on your live website. This guide covers the Date & Time section itself: where it lives and what each field changes.

Where to find it

1. Sign into your Married Next account at https://marriednext.com

2. Navigate to your wedding settings at https://marriednext.com/engaged/wedding#date-time

The Date & Time section is on the “Wedding Details” tab, described as “When the celebration takes place and when RSVPs close.”

How to set your wedding date & time

1. In the Date & Time section, set the “Wedding Date” field.

2. Optionally set the “Ceremony Time” field.

3. Optionally set the “RSVP Cutoff” — the date after which guests can no longer RSVP.

4. Select the “Save section” button.

When it saves, the status line next to the button reads “All changes saved.”

The RSVP Cutoff can’t be later than your wedding date. If it is, you’ll see “The RSVP cutoff date can’t be after your wedding date.” Read more about the RSVP Cut Off date here.

What changes when you save

• Your countdown updates to count toward the new date. See How to Enable Countdown on Wedding Website.
• RSVP timing follows the RSVP Cutoff you set here.
• Your live website reflects the new date and time for guests.

If your wedding has the Memories feature, the wedding date may be locked as your day gets close, since guest photo uploads are tied to it. If the date field is unavailable, this is why.

That’s it — your date and time are saved, and everything that depends on them follows along automatically.
